I’m all pooped out after like 3 days straight of work and studying. So now I have zero energy to doing things. And wow this is some shitty proportioning I’m sorry. I’m working on how to draw adorable fluffy burds because fluffy burds are the best. And yeah my handwriting turns to shit the more notes I take for this class.

Look I tried to draw something. It originally looked super girlish, but then I decided I liked Wilfred, who is decidedly not….manly looking enough. Also I don’t know what to do about arms.

Ignoring the horrendous quality [but that’s not new with all of my postings], this one is gonna be considered as extra credit. Remember when I stayed up until 5 am finishing this one? Yeah so that turned out to be on Thursday and not Tuesday and I suddenly had like 4 hours worth of class to do nothing [I’m a good student, I like going to art class at least. It’s actually at a reasonable hour of the day too.] so I started a new one.

Explanation : The goal is to use geometric shapes as symbolism and create an emotion/state of being. So circles are like infinity, long triangles are evolution, squares are security, etc. The first one is ‘passion’. I’m not gonna explain it though ‘cause it’s corny as fuck.

This one is ‘constraint’. But then constraint started looking more and more like communism. SO. UM. yEAH. It works both ways pfft. So the circle-like things are supposed to be more like cells, specifically turgid cells [english : really bloated cells], which kind of sucks because the circles are like restrained potential that can’t be utilized and it’s just building up and it’s just really really not good. The umm, overlapping squares are something like 2 opposing principles, so you’re being sheltered, but it’s doing the opposite of helping you. And then um. yeah. Way obvious communism colors. My bad.

TLDR : I pretend I can art lol. If I were to title it, it would probably be ‘constraint’.

I should stop finishing art assignments at 5am….

I’ll explain this one later. I’m not really satisfied with it lol… it’s that weird square/color. But now 3 hour nap. Well first clean up. And see how much paint is in my hair this time lmao.

Oh yeah, word of advice? Painting tiny circles is HARD. Especially when you have no small brushes. I wish I had a blue marker to go over them or something. Maybe I could outline in black but that’s too harsh….?

Trololol look I drew my first piece totally original (can you hear the sarcasm) of Journey fanart with the leftover paint I had, aka red, yellow, and white. I mean I could’ve (and should’ve) gotten some blue out for this but oh well.

It’s missing some textures which is why it looks kind of gross and flat here. And wow camera you made it look SO ugly. Tips for people, either scan your shit, or get a real camera with proper lighting lol.

…Yeah. This week’s assignment is like a partner to this, but it probably doesn’t follow the actual assignment I’m supposed to be following [Gestalt Principles aw yeah.] So yeah that’s what I did last week.

Colors…are a bit off… but this is more or less what it looks like right now… [how did this possibly take like 2 hours wtf] BUT NOW I’M STUCK LMAO WHAT COLORS DO I MAKE THE REST.

The fruits of my labour that could’ve been finished like 3 hours ago but I don’t know why it wasn’t. Sketched in pencil, and the rest is all inked in. This had me really nitpicky, and I learned that you need actual inking pens so things don’t smudge [error that costed me 2 squares as you can see…], and that I suck at thinking up patterns to draw, but it was loads of fun otherwise hahaa. I’m…decently happy with it.

Now… I’ll go do 60 pages of reading and note taking… Or pass out. Whichever works/keeps me alive tomorrow.
